Save Money on your Medigap plan.

There is a misconception concerning Medicare Supplement Plans that Allen Heffler , President of MyMedicareAdvisor wants to set straight. Many seniors believe that they can only change their Medigap plan during Medicare’s Annual Enrollment Period- from October 15-December 7, with a January 1 effective date. While it is correct that many changes can only be done during this time frame, such as changing a Part D plan, this time restriction does not apply to Medigap Plans. You are able to change from one Medigap plan to another Medigap plan any time during the year. The one caveat to this is that you will need to answer health questions, go through medical underwriting and yes, you could be denied.
